What are xPeriences?

xPERIENCES are independently organized, live community engagements under the TEDxPanaji umbrella. Each xPERIENCE is designed to:

Celebrate Local – Highlight Goa’s culture, challenges, innovations, and voices.
Expand Ideas – Extend conversations from the TEDx stage into immersive, real-world events.
Enable Participation – Create shared spaces for dialogue, exploration, and co-creation.
Bridge Global and Local – Position Goa’s narratives within global movements in technology, design, sustainability, art, and more.

These are not ancillary events — xPERIENCES are integral to how TEDxPanaji builds impact before, during, and after the main event.

The Khazan xPerience

Explore the hidden gem of Goa on Chorao Island through an immersive journey across mangroves, Khazan lands, and a traditional farm. This TEDxPanaji xPERIENCE seamlessly combines nature, culture, and mindful living while supporting local communities.

Your day begins with a mangrove walk and boat ride through Goa's unique ecosystem. Next, a guided Khazan walk unveils ancient water-management systems. The journey continues with a visit to a Kulhagar farm, where you'll discover organic farming, spices, and traditional food preservation techniques.

The experience culminates with a sumptuous Saraswat buffet lunch and a live cashew roasting demonstration, offering an authentic taste of Goan heritage.

Time: 8 AM–2PM

Contribution: Rs. 1500/- per person (includes boat ride, guided walks, lunch & demos)
