Debarati is the Co-Organiser of TEDxPanaji, overseeing Curation, Media Relations, Design, Social Media, Content, Website and Hosting. She brings together a multigenerational team and diverse perspectives to shape the TEDxPanaji experience. She also works closely with speakers from the earliest stages, helping them find the idea they truly want to put on the TEDx stage.

A journalist and editor with almost two decades of experience, Debarati has worked with Hindustan Times, The Telegraph and The Indian Express, and continues to write for HT Mint, HuffPost and The Established. She has also worked closely with organisations including Unilever, TATA, UltraTech and UTI Mutual Fund, gaining a close view of communication in the corporate world.

As the Co-Founder of Samsthiti LLP, Debarati designs and facilitates cohorts that help people communicate with clarity and intention in their professional and personal lives. She focuses on conflict, feedback and boundaries to help people build stronger relationships.

Alongside this, Debarati holds a POSH Certification, bringing a responsible and legally informed lens to workplace interactions.

Her work and travels across more than 16 countries have exposed her to different cultures and languages, yet remarkably similar communication patterns. She keeps returning to one question: What changes when people learn to say what they really mean and truly listen to others?
