Palmer Luckey is an inventor, innovator, and entrepreneur and the founder of defence technology company Anduril Industries. He established Anduril in 2017 to radically transform the defence capabilities of the United States and its allies by fusing artificial intelligence with the latest hardware advancements. His interest in defence technology stems from his time at the USC ICT MxR lab, where he built hardware used to research immersive PTSD treatments for veterans. Luckey also designed the Oculus Rift, a virtual reality head-mounted display, and founded Oculus VR, which was acquired by Facebook in 2014.
